Proper country pub run by the the most friendly owners and staff real tasty home cooked food, warm atmosphere, ales are lovely, great to get an opportunity to give feedback to a very nice pub

Found The Exeter Inn, in a small village, there is limited parking but free car park just a short walk up the road. Looks lovely from outside but could do with a make over inside, there are guns hanging from the ceiling, look dangerous. Food was nice and very, very good value, range of beers including Boombar, which tasted lovely. Lady was very polite and the food come up in a timely manner.
Had a great evening doing Xmas quiz which was really well organised. Lovely atmosphere and great pub food and beer. Dogs made wonderfully welcome too. Altogether a proper country pub.
We were a party of 9 plus 2 dogs, they fitted us all in and made us all very welcomed. Even though they had a big birthday party going on. The food was excellent home made pasty & burgers. We asked for a table the following night. Smashing friendly people such a traditional old pub. We will recommend to anyone that stays your way. Thanks the (Keith's) lot
