The Twisted Oak is is a traditional, but contemporary pub and restaurant with an log burner. The whole family can enjoy our pub which has a family room and a restaurant and bar!
The outdoor children’s play area is open seasonally but our indoor one is all year round. You might like to catch some live music one evening, look out for our band nights and kids discos!
Our seasonal menu is designed around our locally sourced food, with our top trained chefs working hard to bring you new and classic dishes just the way you like them. Our ever growing famous Sunday Carvery in Exeter, runs from midday till late evening.
Amazing Carvery - went for the Sunday Carvery, arrived very early but still accommodated and allowed to be seated. Staff are amazing and very friendly, especially the lovely lady on the carvery who helped one of the kids back to the table. Food was great, almost 6 clear plates. Highly recommend and will return soon
The food is standard pub grub. Served freshly cooked and hot with decent portion size. If you're looking for higher end pub food though, this isn't the place to go. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We followed a brown sign to find this pub after we detoured away from busy traffic on the A30. It was a great little pitstop for us, decently priced good food and attentive service. There was a nice atmosphere and decor in the food area of the pub and the play area was a real bonus for the children after a morning in the car. A nice find.
Booked a table in this lovely place for lunch as a pit stop to our holiday in St Ives and it was a great find. Not to far off the main road and very spacious. Dog friendly, staff friendly and great food. Will definitely use this again in the future when down this way.
What a lovely place for a meal out. Great food with plentiful portions and served quickly. The food is always tasty and at a reasonable price. Love the family room with a secure playroom for kids to play with toys and slides. It means you can relax and take your time to eat your meal whilst the kids can get down and play, not many places have this facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and tidy and there is plenty of parking outside. Deffinately worth a visit.
