Its a great local village pub with a heart of gold

Having being taken over again, 5th time since 2006, the present landlady is a cracker. Its down to the family atmosphre that has been created by Kirsty Cutchey, husband Dave and son Damen that this pub is almost getting back to where it was 20 years ago. You can't fault the atmosphere or the friendly welcome you get the minute you walk through the front door. Its a nifty little pub and the food tasted great (though they are launching again with a new cook and menu in January 2012) Situated at the end of the village there are some great routes to walk, it's near the river soar, and truly in the best part of Kegworth village.
