Staying for Christmas at a local cottage and decided to pop in for a drink and a meal.Staff were wonderful and very friendly. They even let us bring our parrot (Paxo) in so she could have her dinner, scampi and chips, will definitely be returning while we are here
Very nice and cosy pub with good meals. Very friendly staff and nice variety of fresh vegetables besides the tasty pie. Keep on going your pub in this way!
We passed this on a hike and decided to visit afterwards as its such a pretty location. We sat out at the side of the river. The food was really good and the plates were full. The staff were very friendly and engaging. Would definitely recommend and we will be definitely be making a return journey.
What an amazing find after our walk in the area around to the stepping stones and beyond. Cold beer and lovely food in a great spot by the river. The service was friendly and efficient, will definitely return here when back in the area.
Lovely old world pub serving food. The best part about this place are the tables by the river where you can sit and listen to the sound of water. I had the ploughman’s dish which was good quality. Some local ales on tap. They have their own car park here with about a dozen spaces. They don’t allow parking here to go for a walk though.
