Just stopped in for Sunday lunch on the way home, we have been here before and liked it, but today blew me away!! The food was absolutely stunning, like the best Sunday dinner you ever had, no lies, no jokes, if I wasn't so full I would have ordered another! Brilliant, decent sized, home made grub! A+
Enormous portions of tasty food. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff very nice. We went two nights in a row as we were staying nearby. The was some delay with the food on Saturday night but nothing too bad. Definitely recommended
We stayed with friends for 3 nights. Bed and breakfast. Rooms are really lovely and done to a high standard. Breakfast was good all good quality ingredients and plenty of it. Ate in the restaurant and food was delicious and plentiful at a reasonable price. All the staff and the landlord and his lady were very friendly. Would definitely return and recommend 👌 Thank you for a great stay.
Just re opened after a full refurbishment this lovely Peak District Village Inn, and what a great job it is as well. This is now a real cosy place to eat, drink and stay, nice selection of Ales and Lagers, and a great food menu which has some great hearty food for walkers. They also have rooms a total of 4 offering b&b stays, I didn't see or use these as we hired a cottage In the Village. There were people staying and from what I heard the rooms offer a good comfortable stay, prices are around £100 a night inclusive of breakfast. There is plenty of off road parking available, and lovely walks from the Village, would highly recommend.
(My husbands google account) I recently stayed with my sister for 3 nights. The rooms were warm, clean and well equipped with tea making facilities, hairdryer etc. The food at the pub was amazing, couldn’t fault it. The breakfast that was included was the best we have ever had, proper sausages and well cooked. But best of all the staff were so friendly and helpful as was the owner Marie and her husband. We will definitely be back next year , there is so much more to explore in the area!
