We've stayed here a few times before, the hot tub rooms are amazing! We had our wedding in the Old Barn in October and it was amazing, the whole year leading up to it everyone we were in contact with was lovely and so helpful. Our coordinator for the day, Andrew, was brilliant. He guided us through everything and the day went perfectly, I couldn't recommend this place more!
The hotel is a bit remote but it's definitely worth searching out. Loads of parking spaces, nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff polite and friendly. Well cooked food nicely presented. Not the cheapest but not extortionate. Worth a visit.
I visited the South Causey Inn for a pub lunch and enjoyed the experience. We were given a warm welcome and shown to a table in a room displaying classic movie posters. The food proved good. We ordered burgers and an apple strudel to share. It's a lovely, large pub and I anticipate returning.
We have been a few times for meals, but this time we went and stayed for my daughters wedding. The rooms were greatz the food delicious and the staff superb. My daughters wedding planner was outstanding as we're all the staff we had dealings with. It might not be cheap, but it is worth every penny. I hope to see them again soon.
We went for Sunday dinner this week. It was very busy but we were treated very well. The service was fabulous even though it was peek time of service. The food arrived looking great and tasty. No complaints on the size of the portions either. I had the roast trio and have to say the belly pork was awesome. Thanks for a great lunch we will be back.
