Large family friendly pub with good selection of food. Quiz night on Wednesdays. Reopened after refurbishment September 2015. The dining area has been remodelled and bar fully reupholstered.

Decent Sunday lunch. Great choice of different meats. Service slightly slow but the pub was full.
Stopped in for evening meal. It was easy to find and has good parking facilities. The food was gastropub style, freshly prepared and tasty with generous portions for relatively low cost. The place is really nice and cosy inside. There’s a proper pub bit with excellent array of drinks and good choice of seating and separate restaurant section which is tasteful and equally cosy. The service was truly excellent and the staff were courteous and really on the ball throughout. I will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu.
Visited tonight for food and was not disappointed. Toad in the Hole was amazing, loved the bubble and squeak that came along with it. The Biscoff Cheesecake was absolutely perfect, will never not be tempted by one. Definitely coming back again, fantastic first time dining here and found the whole experience wonderful!
Had Sunday lunch for the 1st time at the Kings head. We go regularly during the week and have always had lovely food and service. However we were extremely disappointed today. We had 2 children with us who were both wanting a children's meal that could bot be provided. We had to order the Sunday lunch which they both left as this was not the food they wanted. I was also extremely shocked that we had to pay an extra £5 for Mashed potato. When ever do you pay extra for mash on a Sundays dinner. There was 3 adults and 2 children and the bill was £ 91. This is extortionate for a simple Sunday family lunch. We will NOT be going back.
Gem of a pub in a lovely village. Staff are always really friendly and never had a bad meal, even as a vegan there's plenty of options. Pub quiz on a Tuesday night is always a good night, got to get in early for a table but that's an excuse for an extra pint 🍺
