Amazing pub, so friendly, staff are lovely and fantastic entertainment.
Went for a couple of Christmas beers with a mate and was a good atmosphere.
This pub is good.. But they need to make it either dog friendly or not. Everytime we turn up with pooch .. a different rule . Just say no dogs allowed, we can go elsewhere ..
Now my local along with the Monday night Gentlemens club now 9 of us started 40 years ago with 3 of us, great pub great landlord Keeps a well run pub with great staff.
I really nice watering hole. Very friendly staff and patrons. Plenty of seating, tv screens if you like watching sports. They've done a great job making a comfortable beer garden that catches the afternoon sun. Didn't eat, so don't know if food is served. Pub is on Birtley High Street, so any parking would either be on a side street, or a few minutes walk away next to Morrisons. I believe wheelchair access is via the beer garden to the left of the main entrance.
