The inn was previously known as Oversley House, and was a private home until the mid 20th Century. After a spell as a residential home for the elderly, the building became Oversley House Hotel. The inn then became a public house.

We had an early flight and were staying at the airport so we hopped in a taxi to the Honeybee to get away for a change. It was worth the trip. Staff were helpful and friendly, we got a Sunday roast each which was delicious, the whole setting was cosy and homely, being dog friendly we got to chat to a few dogs too which added to the whole experience. Thank you to the chefs Jose and Bruno for a super dinner. Absolutely delightful.
Excellent food and lovely staff. It was a group of 14 do we pre-ordered and it all got served quickly and was delicious. Excellent waitress Ali, and chef Bruno. Garlic mushrooms were amazing.!
Nice drive. Plenty of parking. Seating indoors and out. Particularly loved the bowls lined up for four legged friends. Some pasta portions a little small, but otherwise full marks.
We visited this evening and had a lovely meal. We had the 3 course mid week deal, and enjoyed each of our courses. It’s a great idea having a small pudding and coffee, something a little different. Only thing that could have been better was the custard!
Lovely food, great servers! We enjoy going here for meals, they are super attentive toward customers that have allergies too, without making a massive deal of it (the two times we have visited, we have been with a friend with a nut allergy). Such great service, great pub meal, would definitely come a 3rd time!!!
