We have an open fire and enclosed garden. With locally sourced ingredients and award winning chef we are a great place to eat. We have lunch, dinner & Sunday menus, a popular bar pizza menu, delicious puddings, bar snacks, guest ales, draught beers, spirits and a fabulous wine list.

Tried the pizza tonight and it was gorgeous. Service - excellent, pizza - excellent and the proper home cooked chips were spot on. Just what I needed for a cold winter's evening which was topped off by sitting in front of a real log fire. Top stuff!
Food was excellent and service was great. We went on New Year's Eve for a birthday meal - 6 of us - but the restaurant was pretty empty and therefore seemed little atmosphere. The bar seemed lively but we weren't in there so don't take this as normal!
Lovely pub & staff but unfortunately had to wait an hour our meals. When it did turn up everyone's meals were staggered. The salt came out at 100mph which could have easily ruined the meal ! The broccoli was solid, the roast beef was absolutely delicious but had no roast potatoes with it. The burger had a strip of bacon suitable for a burrower sized person & chips wernt great. Very disappointing as it's a lovely looking pub & could be great. It's a drinking pub !
Really nice pub. We were visiting a friend and decided to get lunch here. The roast dinner was outstanding, couldn't fault it. Would definitely come again if we were in the area.
Very quiet meal tonight with great food. I had the blade of beef with was beautifully prepared and just flaked apart. My friend had mushroom risotto...very nice portion. And dessert included sticky toffee pudding and brownie. Service was friendly, however since there wasn't many customers in the restaurant, we were a bit disappointed as it was a long time before we were checked on and requestd a second glass of wine. The brownie was cold as if refrigerated and wasn't warmed prior to being served. This is a restaurant I enjoy going to and is one of my regular favourites.
