I’ve been to BOX the last few days in a row - usually G2 isn’t really for me but the vibe in here is so refreshing, so many different ranges of cool people to hangout with, the staff are super accommodating and approachable. An unbelievably varied range of drinks and a diverse range of music which creates a collective dynamic and atmosphere in which I can undoubtedly say I have experienced nowhere else in Glasgow. Happy to keep coming back here. ❤️✨
Amazing atmosphere, great drinks and prices are more than reasonable. Cocktails are to die for. Excellent night.
Came early to secure a table to watch live music on a Friday night only to be kicked off the table in favour of a group that "booked" our tables whilst we were sitting at them as the manageress "couldn't close" the booking system on the night. Terrible service and wouldn't recommend this venue to anybody.
Staff & Bouncers are lovely! Was asked to leave tonight due to being sick, and the bouncers were really nice about it which I really appreciated! Staff were fantastic also and really friendly and talkative! Their fishbowls are great also!
Used to like it at Box but i went last night for the first time in ages and was really disappointed with a particular member of the bar staff. It was very busy and i was making my way through people, apologising as i went, squeezing past and one of the barmen, curly blonde mullet and glasses, turned and shouted at me, very aggressively, "Why are you pushing me?!" I absolutely wasn't pushing him, i said i was just trying to get towards the bar i wasn't pushing anyone. He then looked at me like i was completely worthless and muttered "f's sake" and stormed past me. Two men stood in front of me agreed that he shouted at me for absolutely nothing. My friend asked to make a formal complaint and she was told there was no way to do that, they don't do complaints. As a manager in hospitality myself, if one of my members of staff had acted like that i would take the complaint from my punter very seriously. Clearly no one here cares and the bar staff are free to be threatening towards their patrons. As a woman i found it intimidating and extremely uncalled for. If i were a man i suspect i wouldn't have been spoken to like that.
