Lovely little pub in Leighton Buzzard, tucked away by the canal. The prices are so reasonable! I got a mac n cheese with garlic bread for £11.39 not going to argue with that! It was also exceptionally delicious. Joanne served us and she was great. Not so attentive that we felt rushed off the table, but attentive enough that we had enough food and drink for a leisurely Saturday lunch. Really enjoyed it there.

What a smashing pub! You wouldn't really know it was there, quite well hidden by the side of the canal. Staff were superb. As was Christmas dinner! Brilliant
Monday lunch. We were looking for somewhere to eat after a morning shopping. It was our anniversary so wanted something quiet nice. Our daughter suggested the Globe inn after looking on the internet. I had been to this pub years ago so thought we would give it a try. You drive down a long driveway to the pub and then along the canal into the car park. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. The pub inside is cosy and very clean. We were offered to sit in the restaurant or bar area which joins each other so keeping the atmosphere. The food was really good and plenty of it. We weren’t rushed and the staff were very friendly. They have good real ales to choose from. The landlady informed us about their recent visit from film star Brad Pit who booked the pub for a whole week while filming locally. Apparently he loves old English pubs. We had a nice walk along the canal after our lunch. I would definitely be returning soon and would recommend this pub. Thanks for a lovely lunch. Not been for a very long time, such a great location beside the canal. A bit tricky to drive as single track road and a very skinny bridge. Visited early evening and was quite busy but served fairly quickly. Although we were advised that a number of menu items were unavailable due to lack of delivery, there was still a good choice. Good arrived in good time and was well presented and all said very tasty. Desert did take a while but still worth the wait. All staff were friendly and helpful.
