The Pev looks a bit lonely on its corner plot, most of its former neighbours were cleared for redevelopment. Clad in green ceramic tiles it stands out, shines even. Its unusual in both its appearance and in its name, which commemorates a famous Manchester to London stagecoach, which in turn took its name from Sir Walter Scott's novel. The man who built the stagecoach, apparently, also built the pub.
The bars fit the odd shape of the building, coming off the central servery at angles. There's a lot of polished timber and the overall appearance is soft and mellow. The pub is popular with students, who dominate the table football Based on details we have been given by people like you, we believe Peveril of the Peak has the facilities listed opposite.
